thinking about fall.

it always seems a bit early to be thinking about what to add to your fall wardrobe when spring flower are barely starting to sprout through the cold ground, but anyone paying attention to the fashion scene knows that fall is in the air.

i just looked at chanel's fall 2008 runway collection on style.com. it was a crisp and clean black and white story. collars and cuffs, pleats and ruffles. what isn't a girl to love! and the part that i liked best (but not everyone held the same opinion) was the pop of two colors - a minty green which was to represent a jade tone and a soft pink. i think i need a splash of that green in the next coming months!!

i do like this green, but maybe a i would go for a blouse or a bold cuff rather than the pants. just a thought ...

the basics.

i wanted to start with something that i love. the cle de peau concealer. this is my new "must have"!!

i heard about this product from a coworker. she was going around showing off how great her eyes looked. i think she was trying to get us all to say how beautiful she was, but all i was interested in was her "secret". she finally confessed that it was the cle de peau concealer. it's definitely an investment at a $70, but let me tell you .... IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

dab a little under your eyes to erase fine lines and cover dark circles, and also works well on blemishes. it just feels good. so creamy and light! best things is that this beefy tube is going to last a year! it also made Marie Claire's list of 25 Top Beauty Products of the Year.
